Doug’s Devastating Farewell Looms

Not for long! In one of the most tragic twists, Jack stumbles upon Doug’s lifeless body. In no time, he delivers the devastating news that Doug passed away peacefully in his sleep.
Consequently, Julie is shaken to the core as Susan tries to mirror real-life emotions. It’s all fresh in the actress’ mind since Bill Hayes died in real life only earlier this year. Furthermore, the November 28 episode promises to deliver tear-jerking moments as Julie mourns Doug’s loss. After all, it’s never easy to say goodbye to the love of your life! However, the impact of his death is felt in the whole of Salem.
Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) struggle to cope with reality. They find it tough to imagine a life post-Doug. Back to Julie, she isn’t alone in her sorrow, as the other townies rally around her to provide support. In the meantime, the preparations for Doug’s funeral will kick-start. So, the holiday, which starts on a happy note, will become a sad farewell to one of Salem’s most iconic and loved figures.
In addition, Doug’s farewell will not go down as your average funeral because it’s also a tribute to the late actor.
